Petra

Petra is Esther's daughter and Cider's grand daughter, she is named for the rose red city in Jordan. Petra's father is the lovely Woody (Bekkis Virtuoso) owned by Mrs Jenny Jefferson and Mrs Alison Hornsby, a stunning tricolour with top Working Trials and Show qualifications.
Petra is very much her parent's daughter - a people worshiper, a very eager "doer" and a real sweetie who firmly believes that everyone loves her - which is of course the case.

Petra shares her mother's photogenic presence and charm.

Petra's life is dedicated to pleasing those around her, she is fast, frantic and lots of fun. Her striking deep red coat, elegant good looks and effervescent, affectionate and honest nature make her friends where ever she goes. Petra is the most responsive of Border Collie and shares her mother's kindness and generosity, she is a delight at home and a pleasure to take anywhere.

Petra will be mated to Hercules in January/February 2010 and we hope for a litter in April.
