At Mastamariner we do vet prospective homes very carefully in line with the conditions described on puppy page on our web site and I would ask that you take time to consider these conditions. 
We further ask prospective owners to provide us with some background and tell us a little about their lifestyle and situation with regard to caring for a puppy. 
We need to understand,

What family member(s) there are,
If there are children and if so their ages,
What company there is for a puppy or dog during the day, please be specific and don't just say that "someone is always around" as this usually seems to mean the opposite!
What opportunities for exercise and recreation are available.
What expectations the prospective owners have of a puppy (if any) such as,
Dog or bitch, Coat colour and Purpose (pet, working, showing, breeding)
Where the prospective owner lives (we are in Northern Hampshire),
Whether the prospective owners have had any previous experience of owning a dog.

We ask these questions before going any further to seek to ensure that expectations are realistic and that a high quality of life will be available to any puppy.
